The new performance frontier is swiftly approaching. The emergence of new business models – driven by change in consumer preferences and traction in enabling technologies – have shifted the dynamics of how value is captured. The most innovative Chief Supply Chain Officers and Chief Operating Officers (CSCOs and COOs) are moving now to respond to and leverage this frontier. They are not only gaining new levels of efficiency and operational insight, but also driving enterprise-wide transformation and creating new solutions to meet evolving consumer needs.
As supply chain and operations leaders embark into this new performance frontier, they face challenging questions: How much of this future potential am I prepared to take on? What steps must we take to develop new capabilities, adopt the right technologies, cultivate high performing teams, and modify our organizational design? What methods can be used to align and adapt the enterprise to new forms of value creation? And, as a leader, how can I pace this change and lead multiple transformations, simultaneously?
To help CSCOs and COOs address these questions and hone their vision for the future the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard and Leadership for a Networked World, in collaboration with Accenture, are convening the 2024 Supply Chain and Operations Reinvention Summit: The New Performance Frontier. This premier learning experience will be held June 4-6 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
